Living Threshold : (Reflections) Beneath the Surface

A boundary ( can be porous* or organic), is not merely a divide; it is a space of potential—a fluid, breathing entity where opposites meet and intertwine. The concept of a vegetal wall transforms the notion of separation into one of transition, inviting a dialogue between humanity and nature.
The first piece of Living Threshold is a 138 cm x 102 cm installation that delves into the unseen rhythms of nature through layered abstraction. The work consists of a flat canvas backdrop measuring 138 cm x 102 cm, with suspended printed images in 13x13, and 13x16, sizes. Each piece invites the viewer into a reflective experience that blurs the line between the visible surface and hidden natural cycles.
This living threshold blurs the distinction between the constructed and the organic, challenging perceptions of permanence and inviting viewers to engage with the shifting interplay of growth, time, and transformation. It is not a barrier but a place of connection, a reminder that boundaries can be as alive and dynamic as the elements they seek to contain.
